A Professional Engineer who speaks GIS.
GeODDs, LLC was founded to give South Florida utilities direct access to senior engineering and spatial-analysis expertise, without the overhead of a large firm.
Armando Godoy, PE
Armando Godoy is a licensed Professional Engineer in Water Resources & Environmental engineering with more than 25 years of experience in civil, water and wastewater infrastructure. His career has centered on the municipal systems that South Florida depends on: collection networks, pumping stations, force mains and the data that describes them.
Over that time he has seen the same pattern repeat: utilities hold enormous amounts of information about their systems, scattered across drawings, spreadsheets, SCADA historians and staff memory. GeODDs exists to pull that information together, put it on an accurate map, and apply sound engineering to it.
Armando is now extending that foundation with credentials in artificial intelligence and machine learning, applying data-driven methods to problems like I&I detection and asset prioritization, always with a licensed engineer accountable for the result.
How we work
- Senior attention on every project. The engineer you talk to is the engineer doing the work.
- Practical over theoretical. Recommendations are prioritized by capacity recovered, risk reduced and budget available.
- Your data stays yours. GIS layers, models and dashboards are delivered in open, documented formats.
- Bilingual by default. We communicate comfortably in English and Spanish with staff, crews and communities.
Three kinds of expertise that rarely sit in one place.
Engineering license
PE-level accountability for analyses, designs and recommendations that utilities and regulators can rely on.
Deep GIS experience
Hands-on skill building and analyzing utility GIS, not just reading maps someone else made.
South Florida utilities
Decades working within the region's hydrology, regulations and municipal operations, now enhanced with AI/ML tools.
Let's talk about your system.
Whether you're a utility, a prime consultant or an agency, we're glad to start with a conversation.
